World’s thinnest wireless touch interface

CSR has developed the world’s thinnest wireless touch interface to demonstrate the revolutionary potential of Bluetooth® Smart for computing interfaces. The flexible device, which is less than 0.5 mm thick, turns any area into a touch surface. Combining CSR’s low-power wireless technology with the latest in printable, flexible electronics from Conductive Inkjet Technology and touch screen sensing from Atmel, the device can be used to extend the touch interface of tablets and smartphones. 

The Internet of Everything, which combines the internet of things with the internet used by people and their mobile devices, will create $14.4 trillion in value by 2022. Currently 99.4% of physical objects that may one day be part of the Internet of Everything are still unconnected. ~Cisco

The Connected Life is at the centre of this Financial Times video which features the smart home, the connected car, mobile health and more.

Reporting from the recent MWC (mobile world congress) in Barcelona, it includes an interview with CCO of GSMA, Michael O’Hara, on what a connected life really means to us.
